REI Co-op has hired IT veteran Dan Shull to serve as its first vice president of commerce and experiences. Shull will be responsible for the customer experience across all technology platforms, and will lead a team of more than 100 technology professionals.
Outdoor co-op REI will be officially open for business in Memphis at Ridgeway Trace on Aug. 24. The new 23,000 square-foot store will offer a wide assortment of quality outdoor gear, experiences and expertise, as well as a full-service bike shop.
In spring 2019, outdoor co-op REI will open a new store in Grand Rapids, Michigan, offering a wide assortment of quality gear, experiences and expertise to local members in the state’s second-largest city.
REI Co-op is moving its Anchorage store from its current location in the Northern Lights Center to a completely refreshed space with an open layout in the newly remodeled Midtown Mall, formerly known as the Mall at Sears, in early 2019.
